  • 2 pounds ground turkey
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • teaspoons ground black pepper
  • teaspoons  ground sage
  • teaspoons ground thyme
  • ½ teaspoon  dried marjoram
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, combine the ground turkey with brown sugar, salt, black pepper, sage, thyme, marjoram, and red pepper flakes. Mix thoroughly until everything is evenly blended. Then, form the mixture into patties.
  • Cook the patties in batches in a large skillet over medium-high heat, frying them for 6 to 8 minutes until they are golden brown and fully cooked through. To ensure they’re done, use an instant-read thermometer— the internal temperature should reach 165°F (74°C).
