- 2 cups diced onion
- 3 cups cooked, finely chopped chicken meat
- 1½ cups seasoned dry bread crumbs
- 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 large egg, lightly beaten (Optional)
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon ground black pepper

In a large skillet, warm 1 tablespoon of oil over medium heat. Add the onion and cook until it turns translucent, about 5 minutes. Then, remove the skillet from the heat.
