Ingredients

  • cup white wine
  • ¼ cup lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1 tablespoon poultry seasoning
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • teaspoon pepper
  • 4 swordfish steaks
  • 1 tablespoon  chopped fresh parsley (Optional)
  • 4 slices lemon, for garnish (Optional)

Instructions

  • To prepare the marinade, simply combine the wine, lemon juice, soy sauce, olive oil, garlic, poultry seasoning, salt, and pepper in a glass dish, stirring until well blended. This mixture will create a flavorful base for marinating the swordfish.
  • Place the swordfish steaks in the marinade, ensuring they are fully coated. Cover and refrigerate for an hour, turning occasionally to allow the flavors to infuse evenly.
  • Heat the outdoor grill to high and brush the grate with a light coat of oil to prevent sticking.
  • Grill the swordfish steaks for 5 to 6 minutes per side, or until the fish is fully cooked and flakes easily with a fork. Discard the marinade. To ensure doneness, check that an instant-read thermometer reads at least 145°F (63°C) in the center of each steak.
  • Top the grilled swordfish steaks with fresh parsley and serve alongside lemon wedges for a bright, flavorful finish.
